Lucky Light Eventing
Anna Loschiavo is an aspiring young event rider and competitor from Bradford, Vermont. She has competed through the CIC** level and achieved her B-rating in the USPC. Over the years she has worked with some of the area's top professionals. She worked for renowned trainer, competitor and FEI judge Jane Hamlin for three years. While working with Jane she moved up the levels to the CCI* level. In 2009 she represented Area 1 in the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships at the CCI* level.
In 2010 she spent time working for and training with Olympic team member Phillip Dutton. She and Lucky Light III ("Vega") moved up to the Intermediate level with success and qualified for the 2010 NAJYRC's at the CCI** level after their 9th place finish at the Chattahoochee Hills CIC** in Georgia. An unfortunate injury to Vega shortly after the event prevented them from representing Area 1 for a second year at the Championships.
Anna spent 2012 working full time at Huntington Farm in South Strafford, VT. She worked under Grand Prix dressage rider and trainer Deborah Dean-Smith with the exiting opportunity to ride and compete many of the talented horses at Huntington. During the 2012 summer she jumped Prince Renan and many of the Huntington horses at Tamarack Hill Farm with renowned professional Denny Emerson. She was also able to start teaching and coaching her own clientel of lower level students.
Anna spent January-March of 2013 training with Torrance Watkins in The Plains Virginia with Prince Renan. She is now back in Vermont with Prince Renan for the 2013 Area 1 Eventing season. While she is taking classes to finish her college degree she will have Prince Renan at her parent's barn in Bradford, VT. She's looking forward to spending the summer training with Deborah Dean-Smith, Jane Hamlin and Denny Emerson with Prince Renan. Anna will also be working with the local Pony Club and will be available to teach lower level students in the area.
